Men of Joseph
Inspired by the Missionaries of Charity founded by Saint Teresa of Calcutta. Men of Joseph is a Lay Brotherhood of married and single men within the Diocese of Lafayette, Louisiana, with remote members in Houston, Tx, and Guadalajara, Mx. By the Grace of the Holy Spirit members strive to faithfully imitate Blessed Joseph the chosen father of Jesus.
Our charism is Joseph with Jesus at his side serving the Poorest of the Poor of Nazareth and loving Mary through the eyes of Joseph himself.
We are an active-contemplative brotherhood that serves the poorest of the poor through our masculine witness. If you’re a male, aged 21 or older, interested in meeting with other men interested in the Catholic Faith, join the Men of Joseph Movement. We meet twice per month, either online or in person.
This group is intended for men, to strengthen devotion to Saint Joseph, the Head of the Holy Family, the Husband of Mary, and the Chosen father of Jesus. He epitomizes the ideal for manhood. This group is not to diminish any affection for Mary but to foster a deeper reverence through Joseph. We seek abundant blessings through St. Joseph and to fortify our sense of manhood so that, united, we may better serve our fellow men. (must complete a conformation email)
